Primitive Santa!

I may or may not have done a jig around the scrap room when I got my Sassy Cheryl's image this month! I love Sassy Cheryl's Digis!!!!! And this one is just SO DARNED CUTE! I couldn't stand it!

I colored this primitive santa with copics and really had a lot of fun with him! Isn't he the cutest??

Sugar Creek Hollow!!!!

YAY for Saturdays, one of my favorite days of the week!!  This week over at Sugar Creek Hollow, we want to see LAYERS in a vintage, shabby chic or primative style!

Robyn's Fetish sponsored us this week, and she gave the DT images to work with. Isn't this primitive bear just ADORABLE? Thanks so much for the beautiful image!

I've colored him with copics and used MME Union Station paper to accentuate the card. As you can see, I have several layers,,,,,

card base
2 papers on top of the base
the bear which I've popped up with pop dots
2 hearts
twine
baker's twine
and a button

I also used stamps from Stampin D'Amour for the banner and Happy Birthday on top!

I just love how it turned out. Primitive cards are so hard for me, but this little bear just gave me the push I needed! So hop on over to Sugar Creek Hollow and link up a layered card in one of those three styles!
