Good Evening,,,,,,,,about the only GOOD thing about having several herniated discs is that when they go out, you have a good excuse to sit on your butt and do nothing but make cards LOL.
Yep,,,,,two days of relaxation here,,,,,,,but I do believe I am on the mend :)
Today, I have a challenge entry for two challenges!
Sassy Cheryl's weekly challenge this week is "pretty papers",,,,,they want to see your cards with pretty papers!
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long wants to see your cards using the following picture for inspiration!
It was an easy combination!!!!!
Here's my card for both challenges!
I colored the Sassy Cheryl image with copics and prismacolors, cut it out with Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornaments and then debossed it with a Tim Holtz sow flake embossing folder,,,,,,I then embossed white card stock with the same folder, and cut several more ornament shapes from several of my prettiest green papers,,,,,I also cut the star from the Sassy Cheryl image separately from the image with the smallest ornament die. I "hung" the ornaments on sparkly gold ribbon, pop dotted them up, and gave each ornament a gold bow. Easy peasy and really pretty!
So run on over to Sassy Cheryl's and Christmas Stampin' All Year Long and load up your cards! You might win a prize
My second card is just for fun! I had this image in my computer and I've been meaning to do something with it for some time now,,,,,,,I cut the image out using spellbinders rectangles long and spellbinders scallopped rectangles long, added some cute die cuts, hand rolled roses, lace, velvet ribbon and a bow! It's a bit different than my normal "vintage" cards, but I think I like it!
I hope you enjoyed the cards, and thanks for looking!!!!!!

PAR-TAY!!!!!!
Good Morning!!!!! It's time yet again for Party Time Tuesdays!!!!! Right now, I am on vacation on the Gulf of Mexico in Palm Harbor Florida (Honeymoon Island),,,,,,,,
I've set my post to post, so if you're seeing this,,,,,,,,,IT WORKED! LOL!
It's that time of year yet again when we honor our fathers and husbands for being amazing fathers throughout the year!
So our challenge this week at PTT is we want to see your Father's Day Cards with "All things Mechanical",,,,,,,huh, gotcha thinking there, didn't I??
Never fear, the PTT Design Team has some fantastic inspiration for you to get you going, so make sure you hop right over there and leave some love for the DT while you're at it!
Our amazing month long sponsor for June is Robin's Nest, who've provided fantastic papers, dew drops and rub ons for our projects!
Joining us for this week are The Stamping Boutique
and Robin's Fetish who provided stamps for this week!
Thank you so much for the generous donations of our sponsors!
I created my card with this adorable and unique bicycle built for two digi by Robin's Fetish!
All papers are Robin's Nest,,,,,and the corner element and sentiment (under bicycle) are both rub ons from Robin's Nest as well,,,,,,,
some pretty dew drops and a triple bow made of hand dyed seam binding, and she's finished,,,,,,,pretty simple, but men don't seem to go for a ton of ribbons and lace, now do they? LOL
Here's a close up of this cute digi stamp and the sentiment,,,,,,,
I hope you enjoyed the card, thanks for looking, and make sure you go over to Party Time Tuesdays to load up your card for the challenge!!!!!
