Don't be square...Be rectangle.
Probably THE single dumbest title I ever came up with LOL.
Today, I have another box,,,,,,,,,,,,a rectangle one,,,,,,,,another Becca flap box. They're just SO elegant, and the minute I saw the challenge over at Make My Monday, well, I knew this box was the ONLY thing I wanted to make,,,,,,
The theme this time around is "Victorian Romance",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,dreamy sigh. Yes, I love victorian romance!
I used two victorian images,,,,,,,,a young couple in love,,,,,,,and a French Victorian chocolates ad. The chocolates ad I got at the Graphics Fairy (button to the right),,,,,,,the other was on a CD I bought years ago.
when I think of Victorian, I always think of lacy, fancy stuff,,,,,,,so I knew I wanted to make this box a bit fancy. So, from the bottom up, my focal point uses the following nesties dies,,,,
Lacy Ovals, Parisian motifs, lacy ovals, parisian motifs, ovals (with picture) and then finally one of the smallest Parisian motifs.
The box itself is made from this gorgeous peachy/pink flourish paper,,,,,,,no clue who made it, it was a gift at least a year ago, and I've been saving it for something special. I used a satin ribbon closure with velcro on the bottom,,,,,,,,,two stick pins and a fluffy ivory bow,,,,,,and a plethora of tiny pearls,,,,,and of course, the chocolates ad made into a little tag. This box is the PERFECT size for a few delish fancy french chocolates for a lovely thank-you gift!
Here's a close up!
I hope you enjoyed the box,,,thanks for looking,,,,,run right over to Make My Monday if you want to enter a beautiful Victorian Romance project!

HMFMC113
Good afternoon everyone! I hope you have more interesting plans than I have this afternoon,,,,,after a busy and lazy weekend, my house is about destroyed,,,,,,I am putting off cleaning it as we speak LOL. But as soon as I'm done posting this card, off to the kitchen I go to load the dishwasher,,,,,,,,maybe if I hurry, I can get in some more crafting today!
Ever feel bored with the usual stuff you do and just want a little change???? Yep, that's me right now,,,,,so the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge number 113 this 2 week stretch is "Make wishes come true!" It can take many forms from wishing well to wishing on a star to wishing someone feel better,,,,,,however you interpret it! I love my HMF stamps, and don't use them nearly enough,,,,,,,so I decided it was time to change that!
And so I've done my "get well soon" card for a friend who is in the hospital this week,,,,,,
The paper is scraps,,,,,,,The paper company, MME and Tim Holtz Advantus,,,,,,,I've used "Mouse Drops" stamp here and colored them with copics,,,,,aren't they just adorable? I love this stamp because it's SO easy and quick to color!
I've cut them out with circles large,,,,,layered that on top of Parisian Motifs and then layered the whole over postage stamps,,,,,,,,
my flowers were made from the small and medium elements of the Parisian motifs, simply shaped with a stylus and the layers popped up on dots and a pretty button glued in the center of each,,,,,,easy as pie. I made the leaves out of brown card stock and cut with the spellbinders foliage dies. A brown butterfly bow, a stick pin, a free online sentiment and a tiny gold heart and she's finished!
Here's a close up of the Mouses!
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the card!

Oh Baby!!!!!!!
Good Afternoon!!!!
One of my favorite blogs in the WHOLE WORLD is Amazing Paper Grace with Becca,,,,,omg, I drool every single time I look at her blog,,,,,,if I could ever be HALF as good as she is,,,,,,I'd die of sheer happiness!!!!
Well, Becca had up today, this gorgeous flap box that SHE designed,,,,,,,I need part of her brain. Seriously.
It looked so complicated,,,,,,,but Becca has the BEST tuts, and it wasn't hard at all!!!!!
and at a slightly different angle,,,,,,you can see the lace belly band I used to close it,,,,,,,
Seriously, this box is super easy once you've done one or two,,,,,,,be sure to use medium weight card stock you don't care a ton about for the first try,,,,,,,after that it gets easier!
you can find Becca's tutorial HERE!
I used a stack of baby boy paper I've had for YEARS,,,,,,,,not sure which one it is, because I lost the cover of the pack GAAH,,,,,,but I love that pack, because it's OH SO elegant, and not overly baby.
To make my center focal point I used my new spellbinders dies "Parisian Motifs",,,,,,it's yummy! I just stacked the largest on the bottom, two of the smaller ones in the middle and the little flourish off to both sides,,,,,,,all up on pop dots,,,,pretty!
Becca's box closes by slipping one flap into the other,,,,,,,but I wanted to use a belly band for mine,,,,,,,and so I made one out of lace, building my focal point on top of the lace,,,,simply slide off the box and it opens!
Super easy, and SUPER cute! A bit of sheer ribbon, some pearls and a pin,,,,,,,,,,,,FINISHED. It could easily hold a gift of money for a baby shower.
Here's a close up of the focal point,,,,,,,,
I hope you enjoyed the box,,,,,,,and I hope you go over there and try one of your own! Really, it's so easy!
have a lovely weekend,,,,,,,,,,,I am off to Disney World for the rest of the afternoon!

See Spot Run!
I'm probably going to date myself here,,,,,,,,but I learned to read with Dick and Jane, Sally and Mother and Father,,,,,,,and of course, Spot and Puff,,,,,the family pets. The Dick and Jane readers were some of the most popular, and generations of children from the 1930's through the 1970's learned to read with these beloved characters. I was on the tail end of those children who to this day remember the characters with great fondness.
So when Pamela over at freevintagedigistamps.com (button to the right) posted this beloved image of Sally and Puff (the kitten who never seemed to grow up!), I KNEW I had to make a card with it.
I purposely left the card relatively simple,,,,,Life WAS so much simpler in those days! I'm not saying they were all good days,,,,,,,,far from it,,,,,,,,African Americans didn't even APPEAR in the Dick and Jane books on that whitest of white streets "Pleasant St" until nearly the end of their publishing in 1965,,,,,the year I was born.
Those days were decidedly NOT all good,,,,,,,,,but I do have fond memories of the milk man delivering milk straight into the metal "milk box" on the front stoop,,,,,,,penny candy that was a penny,,,,,,,and phones with no call waiting. If you left your phone off the hook, your grandmother would call your neighbors and they'd run over and tell you to hang it up and call Grandma. If you weren't home,,,they'd let themselves in and hang it up for you,,,,,,and they wouldn't case the joint while they were there. It was a time when children played with friends, learned by making believe, and Mother counted heads every couple hours and passed out popsicles in the summer to any child playing in her yard. Til the day my mother moved out of her house in 2002, we never owned a key for the front door.
Now I feel old LOL,,,,,,but I did enjoy the trip down memory lane. Now back to the card LOL. I made it larger than I normally do (5x7) so that I could print the image quite large,,,,,,,The paper is all Cosmo Cricket "Girl Friday", and I chose it because of the pink and blue "primary" spaced paper in the pack,,,,,,,that and the letters just seemed to go with the theme of Dick and Jane and learning to read.
a ribbon, some lace, a blue bow and a rolled flower made from that same pink paper, and she's done,,,,,,very simple,,,,,,,,,,like the feelings I was trying to evoke. And that's the sentiment I used
"Remember when everything was simpler?"
See Sally Play!
Run, Puff, Run!
Here's the inside,,,,,,,,,,
Where you can see silly Puff trying to ride Mother's Vacuum while Sally plays with her play one.
and the inside sentiment:
"some things still are. I love you."
I think I'll give it to my mother. Another Dick and Jane reader from 20 years before me.
I've so enjoyed my walk down memory lane today, that it led me to try and find more images, some of which I have printed out and plan to make some tags with,,,,,,,,
I hope to have some of those Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you also enjoy a trip down memory lane,,,,,,,,no matter what your memories are! Have a wonderful weekend!

For a Dear Woman,,,,,,,,
It's no secret that I love my Mother-In-Law,,,,,,,and as the years go by, and I hear CRAZY stories of other Mothers-In-Law, I love her more LOL.
She's not perfect,,,,,,,and neither am I,,,,,,but at least she's NORMAL LOL,,and she's always been sweet and warm to me.
Here birthday is coming up next week, and so, of COURSE, I had to make a birthday card,,,,,,I didn't want it to be the traditional cake and candles,,,,,I wanted something lacy and pretty and feminine.
I settled on these papers, which are mostly Prima,,,,,I do see a scrap or two of Webster's,,,,,,but it's mostly Prima Madeline.
I used a ton of spellbinders on this, because I just love how they layer,,,,,,,the lacier edged, the BETTER!
starting from the bottom, I used the largest Eyelet Circles, Holly Motifs that I cut the Holly off of, floral doily motifs, more floral doily motifs, and finally lacy ovals.
I made a flower out of Floral lacy motifs by cutting two, shaping them slightly with a stylus and popdotting one on top of the other and then adding a fancy button. I affixed that to the bow of brown satin,,,,some lace, a couple stick pins and it's done, easy peasy and very simple.
Here's a close up of the focal point layers,,,,,,
I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for looking!!!!!
And I hope you have half as sweet a Mother-In-Law as I do!!!!!!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!!!!
This is my second post of the day,,,,,,,,,,please scroll down for my Party Time Tuesday DT post!
I just wanted to say Happy Valentines to all my friends out there,,,,I wish I could give you each a valentine! Since I can't,,,,,,,,,,this will have to do!
This was such a quick and easy card,,,,,,,I started out with a burgundy card base that I cut the bottom of with Classic Ric Rak,,and then lined above with a white, gathered ribbon,,,,My card layers are as follows, from the bottom up,,,,,,
postage stamps, a paper heart doily, Nellie Snellen Lily Circle (using the two largest dies, my favorite combo!), lacey squares, eyelet pendants, and then finally one of the smaller elements of the Fleur De Lis pendants,,,,,,,,
a ribbon, a charm, and a stick pin pretty much finish it up,,,,,,it's a smaller card (4.25x5.5) so it didn't take much to fill it up!
Here's a close up!
I hope you enjoyed "your" valentine,,,,,,thanks for looking,,,,,,,and I so appreciate your comments and your support!!!!
Have a lovely Valentines Day,,,,,,,,I hope your loved ones bring you something lovely so you know you're loved,,,,,,,,,and if they do not,,,,,go out and get yourself something lovely,,,,,,,,,to show YOU that you love YOU!

52 Christmas Card Throwdown!!!!
Good afternoon!!!!! I finally had a day to just relax and make cards! And I discovered that the challenge this week at 52 Christmas Card Throw down is red, green and gold,,,,,,,
well, I tell you,,,,,,,,I had to do some digging in my scrap stash (which I am determined to use as much as possible!) to find just the colors I needed,,,,,,,,but I found them.
Here's the color challenge inspiration photo!
And here's the card I made from these colors!
I've been wanting to do a "create a scene" card for as long as I've had this cricut cartridge with the adorable window! And today, my mojo just "took" me there,,,,,,,,and it's a bit more complicated than my usual card,,,,,,but it was really fun to make something totally DIFFERENT than my normal!
First I welded both the window and the blackout of the window together so that when I folded it,,,,,I had a window on the front of the card and a solid back for the back flap. I then cut another window only out of red paper and glued that to the front. Then I TRIED to cut a blackout of the window in acetate,,,,,,but Cricut wouldn't cut it for me LOL,,,,,,it did SCRATCH the acetate, though, so I was able to cut out that traced image,,,,,,,,so I glued the acetate to the back of the window so that it looked like a real window,,,,,,,I don't know if you can see that in th epic, but there's acetate so that it looks like glass.
Then I cut Santa out of some scrap christmas paper,,,,,,,backed him with Holly Motifs and then cut more Holly motifs out of gold paper and popped the whole thing up on pop dots on the lower portion of the window. It's a wreath of sorts :)
I cut a christmas tree out of green scraps, and glued that to the back side of the acetate, so that it would appear to be INSIDE the window.
Some gold and red striped paper placed on the inside of the card appears to be wall paper,,,,,,,a gold snowflake star and some holly leaves and red gems and a gold bow with a tiny gold stocking and a red jingle bell complete the card,,,,,,,
Here's a close up of Santa,,,,,,,,
I wasn't sure I liked it,,,,,,,,,,,,but it's growing on me LOL. And WHO can argue when mojo takes you there?
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed,,,,,,and run right over to 52CCT and load up your red, green and gold Christmas card,,,,,,,,,Might as well finish your cards early this year and be ahead of the game!!!!!!

DS LOVES jokes and puns,,,,,,he's constantly using them,,,,,,,,and so therefore, it was perfect!
I printed the entire image on kraft paper, and cut out the portion that included the globe with nesties circles large,,,,,,used a MS deep edge punch to cut one of the layers,,,,,,squares, postage stamps and circles again, to create a focal point,,,,,,,,,,,a computer generated sentiment printed again on kraft,,,,,,,a few gems,,,,,,and VOILA,,,,,,,,,
a male valentine!!!!! WHICH happens to be the theme over at sugar creek hollow this week,,,,,and so, I'm entering this into that challenge :)
Thanks for the awesome image AGAIN, Pamela!!!!!!!!
I hope you all have a magnificent weekend,,,,,,,,,and thanks for looking!!!!!

PTT 54! Valentines Day!
Good Morning!!!!!
It's Tuesday, and that means it's time to Party with the Party Planners at Party Time Tuesdays! This week we're celebrating Valentines Day! I can't believe it's so close,,,,,,,,I swear, just yesterday it was Halloween!
Our month long sponsors who are so generous this month are ZVA Creatives, who supplied bling and flowers for the Party Planners,,,,,,,,,,,and I-Copic who is supplying a prize! So hop on over to PTT (link above) and get some valentines cards done up,,,,,,you might win a prize!!!!! (Please remember to follow the theme and to post our badge on your side bar to be eligible!)
Our weekly sponsors this week are Wee Stamps who provided this adorable little image and the Digi Doodles Shop! Thanks to all our generous sponsors!
I've used this image from Wee Stamps, colored it in copics and cut it out with Spellbinders Circles Large,,,,,and then matted on Eyelet Circles. I've used K and Company paper on this card, and it's GORGEOUS,,,,so shiny and sparkly! It goes PERFECTLY with the sparkly bling from ZVA which I've used as the center of the largest flower and as the stems and leaves. So pretty!
The largest two flowers I have hand made from Spellbinders Rose Creations, using white water color paper,,,,,I've then shaped the flowers with a stylus and then used pink glimmer mist to tip the flowers with,,,,,it's so shimmery and makes a lovely two toned flower! I've then tipped the edges with glitter,,,,,these flowers really sparkle!
The smaller flowers and the leaves are from ZVA Creatives,,,,,,,so cute! A computer generated sentiment made with my Just Rite Happy Everything tag kit, and she's done!
I hope you enjoyed the card, and thank you so much for looking!!!!

52 Christmas Card Throwdown!!!!
Good morning!!!!! Over at 52CCT they have a sketch for us to follow,,,,,,and it's a really fun sketch!!!!
I chose to turn the sketch on it's side and make a 5x7 card out of it,,,,,mostly because I get bored with too many square cards,,,,and I've done a ton of them recently!
I used K and Co and Recollections scraps to make this card (Yay!),,,,,,for my two squares (as represented in the sketch) I chose to change the shape to labels 18,,,,I cut the reindeer out of brown card stock with my cricut and layered a red 1/4 inch ribbon over a strip of border punched green card stock and then tied a quad bow. The pinecones were made by hand from brown card stock,,,,,,,for the tiniest ones, I used the Spellbinders spiral blossoms 1,,,,,and for the larger one, I used Rose Creations,,,,,,,I do believe the Rose Creations is EASIER,,,and it WILL make almost as small a pinecone as the spiral blossoms 1. That's my opinion anyway,,,,,Pinecones are all the rage on cards, suddenly,,,,,,I know that Tim Holtz has a new die,,,,,and McGill has punches for making them,,,,,but I wanted to use the dies I ALREADY own,,,,so I played around a bit,,,it was really pretty easy,,,, I used a bit of white paint and some glitter to look like snow, and I think they came out pretty decently!
really, it's easy as pie!
A few gems, some glitter on my pinecones and branches, a few red berries, a tag made with my JustRite Happy Everything Tag Kit,,,,,,and it's finished!
Here's a close up of my pine cones,,,,,,,,
I hope you enjoyed the card,,,,,,,run on over to 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and get your cards done EARLY this year!!!! You'll have more time for baking and decorating if you do!
Thanks for looking,,,,,,I really appreciate it!!!!

Sugar Creek Hollow Again!!!
So we decided to stay home today and get some things done around the house,,,,,I've got laundry going now,,,,,beds are stripped,,,,,,,,,and DH is doing some chores I've been wanting him to do for weeks now,,,,,,
Really, we've been TOO busy and gone to Disney TOO MUCH (if that's possible!) this past week or so!
And it's not all bad LOL,,,,,DH is watching his favorite TV shows while doing the chores,,,,and I'm doing some card making waiting to switch the laundry.
And there's a turkey in the oven for dinner,,,,,YUM!
And of course, Sunday means there's a BRAND NEW Sugar Creek Hollow challenge!!!! (OK, it was new YESTERDAY, but I was busy LOL)
This week's theme is AT THE BEACH,,,,,,make a vintage, shabby chic or primative card or project with that theme,,,,,,,,
I'm all over it! I have this darling vintage image of a Victorian beach scene I THINK from one of my CD's that I printed an aeon ago,,,,,I just KNEW it was perfect for this challenge!
I used a ton of scraps (now that they are organized, it's easy to look through them for appropriate paper instead of just cutting a 12x12 paper!) the bottom layer is DCWV-Linen Closet,,,,,,,the frame is another linen closet scrap,,,,,and the others (stripes and spots) are of course, MME Lost and Found! Ev en when I TRY to stay away from it, I somehow wind up using at least a tiny scrap LOL.
I embossed the bottom blue layer with my Tim Holtz post card embossing folder, inked all the edges and the raised embossing well and just layered one on top of the other,,,,,,piece of cake, and simple as pie.
I then cut the frame for the image with Spellbinders Postage Stamps and made it a frame with classic squares large,,,,,,it looks sort of like a stamp on a post card,,,,,and I thought it was so cute!
some pearls, some prima lace and a bow I found in my leftover "bits and bows" box, and a "post mark" that I stamped over the image just a bit,,,,,,,,,and it's finished!
Here's a close up so you can see the vintage image better!
Although the children look a little more comfortably dressed,,,,,,,can you IMAGINE wearing that long dress, hat and JACKET that woman has on?????
No wonder women fainted so much in those days!
The sugar creek hollow challenge goes on for several more days, so run on over there and enter YOUR vintage beach themed card!!
Thanks for looking!!!!!! I hope you enjoyed!!!!!

Vintage Rose!
Good Afternoon!!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday and has great plans for the weekend! DH and I are going to Disney World on Saturday for a few hours after he finishes working,,,,,,,,
I'm looking forward to that! I haven't forgotten about posting some Disney pics,,,,,I just forget every time I pull out the card reader and yank pics into my computer LOL. Making a note to do that now.
So today I have a card that features this GORGEOUS vintage rose digi stamp,,,,Pamela over at Free Vintage Digi Stamps posted it the other day, and I HAD to use it!!!! It's really stunning,,and Pamela is SO generous with her lovely images,,, I just love that it's ready for copics or watercolors!!!!
This card is super simple,,,,,,it's 5.5x5.5 (one of my favorite sizes),,,I colored the image with copics,,,the base is pink,,,,,I layered brown over that 1/4 inch smaller,,,and then this gorgeous light pink French newsprint on the top, and this gorgeous, really shabby chic looking pink stripes on the lower half. My focal point from the bottom up is Fleur de lis pendants, lacey ovals and ovals large,,,,,,,a bit of lace that has these beautiful roses woven into the decoration, a few gems, a spiral rose on a bow and a stick pin, and it's all ready for my mother's friend, who's quite ill in the hospital,,,,,,I used to babysit her children when I was a teenager,,,,,They're adults now, and I'm showing my age LOL.
so today,,,,I'm spreading the love (see button on my side bar for information on that movement).
Here's a close up of this stunning image!
You should run right over to Free Vintage Digi Stamps right away, because Pamela has the most gorgeous images,,,,,,,Thank you so much for all of them, Pamela!!!!
Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful weekend!!!!

A Sexy Little Valentine!!!!!
I don't generally do this type of card,,,,,in fact,,,it's pretty much NOT my style,,,,,,,buuuuuuuut,,,,I happened to win a couple images from Kenny K, and for some reason,,,,,this image (Sexy Cupid) stuck in my head as something kinda cute to give my DH for Valentines day,,,,,,,You can get this and many other cute digis from Kenny K here!
We can all dream LOL!
I used AGAIN my favorite paper Lost and Found by MME (I loved this stuff so much, I ended up buying a HUGE pad of it at HL,,,,,,the sheets are thin, but I didn't care,,,and that's saying something! I am normally quite picky about the thickness of my papers!)
I layered on this deep red paper over black and cream dots,,,,,I cut the edges of the card and the pp with nesties edgeabilities (classic Ric Rak) and then layered the whole over red and cream dots,,,,,,
the image was colored with copics,,,,,,not my best job, but black is a tough color to get right. And hair confounds me every single time,,,,,,,eh, practice makes perfect! I stickled her wings liberally and it has hints of gold in it,,,,,,which led me to dig out the very last (sob!) tiny piece of my gold mirror card and cut this key and heart lock. I believe the nesties set is called "Timeless Heritage", and I bought it YEARS ago before I knew I'd someday have almost 40 sets of nesties LOL. I do not think it's available any longer.
A few sticky gems and a small ribbon and she's finished!
Here's a close up of the image!
I think he'll like it,,,,,,,and get a kick out of the sentiment,,,,,,,, "We can all dream. Happy Valentines Day".
Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoyed!

Vintage Lovlieness!!!!
Well, I have to say it's been several weeks since I've been able to play along with Sugar Creek Hollow for their weekly challenge! I've been so busy,,,,,,,between the holidays and vacation, being a newbie on a design team, AND trying to get my scrap room organized,,,,,,,,,,whew,,,,I've been busy!!!!!
But today, I checked my schedule,,,and lo and behold,,,,,,,I HAD TIME TO MAKE A CARD! LOL,,,,
Sugar Creek Hollow,,,,,,,HERE I COME!
The theme this week is one of my fav color combos! Brown, Cream, and Blue,,,,,gorgeous!!!!!
And I knew immediately that I'd use this gorgeous blue paper with hints of brown in it,,,,,
First, I cut the image out of the paper with labels 18,,,,,and layered that on the largest labels 18 in brown card stock. I then layered on some gorgeous blue and cream damask, blue and cream dots and blue and cream stripes,,,,pretty pretty pretty! I added some lace, pearls, and a pretty little bow,,,,,,,a stick pin, and one of my favorite sentiments from "There She Goes" stamps. A few flowers, a bit of inking,,,,,,and it's pretty and all ready to go out to my Mother-in-law,,,,,,
Here's a close up!
which brings me to my next thought,,,,,,
I'm a few days late for my second week of "spread the love" but better late than never,,,,,,
two years ago, my wonderful mother in law lost her husband of almost 50 years to suicide. He had been ill with cancer, and terrified,,,,,,had watched his sister dying of cancer (she ultimately died the same day her brother committed suicide) and chose to end his life rather than go the same route. His loss is felt profoundly,,,,,,He's missed every single day,,,,,,not a day goes by that we don't think of him,,,,,,love him,,,,,and grieve over his loss. His loss left us bitter, sad,,,,,,,,,and uncomprehending. His prognosis was good,,,,,he had every chance to live another 20 or 30 years,,,,,,,,,but his fear controlled his actions.
And of course,,,,,,my poor Mother In Law missed him the most,,,,,,,,,My husband and I are 1200 miles away,,,,,,,and there's not much we can do,,,,,,except call,,,,,,and send cards,,,,and tell her we love her,,,,,,
so this card is for her,,,,We love you, Ma.
Thanks for looking,,,,,If you love vintage, shabby chic or primitive style, run right over to Sugar Creek Hollow and join in the fun,,,,,,,,link above!!!!!

Two Turtle Doves,,,,,,,
Errr,,,,,,Two Christmas Cards! Good Morning!!!!!! Today I have a Christmas card for the 52 Christmas Card Throw Down (button on my side bar),,,,,,This week's theme is EMBELLISHMENTS,,,,,specifically RHINESTONES,,,,,,,and they want to see at least THREE and it must SPARKLE.
Well, I love a sparkly card! This challenge is right up my alley!
I used my brand new Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom ornaments die set and cut the largest ornament from some super sparkly glitter paper from The Paper Company. I then cut 2 sizes down out of gold mirror paper, and center cut that with labels 18. I layered that on some K and company gold christmas paper scraps, and TWENTY EIGHT rhinestones certainly add to the sparkle,,,,,
I used one of my fav stamps, JustRite Christmas nested sentiments to add the sentiment, and then embossed that with gold embossing powder.
A super pretty quad bow with an attached triple bow adds the final touch.
Here's a close up!
Next up is a card for LAST week's challenge which was the theme of "Christmas flowers". Well, I missed the challenge because I was busy getting ready for vacation with my family,,,,,,,,BUT at least I got the card done! Although it's not eligible for a prize, I wanted to at least show it to you all,,,,,,,
The BG paper is scraps,,,,and I love this paper,,,,I believe it's K and company,,,,,it's poinsettias and green leaves, and BOY does it shimmer! I cut labels 3 out of the center and then created a gold frame with labels 3. My poinsettia is made with my favorite Marianne Designs poinsettia die and edged with green leaves made of the same die. A bit of sparkle in the center, a quad bow with a single gold bow attached, and a simple JustRite "Season's Greethings" tag made with my JustRite Happy Everything Tag making kit and she's done!
Here's a close up!
I do hope you enjoyed the cards,,,,,,and do pop over to the 52 Christmas Card Throw down to get all your cards done by November!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for looking!!!! I so appreciate it!
