Babies, babies, babies!

So, as I mentioned the other day, I had finished my baby girl project for MHM monday challenge,,,

and unfortunately, my camera was on the blink, and I didn't get it posted in time. Well I worked so hard on the dang thing, it wasn't going unposted LOL

so here it is,,,,,,,,too late for the challenge, but still fun to make and keep for the next baby girl shower I go to!

I used DCWV's preppy princess stack, spellbinders nested crowns and nested hearts to make this,,,,,,,ad of course, a House Mouse stamp! I just love this little stamp of a mousie yawning,,,,,,,one of my favs, in fact, and it's just darling for many projects. And this time I've made a door hanger (which I will personalize with baby's name "is sleeping" when I know the baby's name),,,,,,,,and a little matching tag to go on the bag! Tons of lace and a bit of pearls for sparkle.

Thanks for looking! Hope you all are having the most amazing week!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge!

Good afternoon! I have a card today for the Sassy Cheryl's challenge blog!  The theme today is SNOW and they have a super sketch to start the inspiration!

I took inspiration from the layers on the sketch, and followed it a bit loosely :)  I used a Sassy Cheryl's Quilt digi that she was kind enough to send me and colored it with copics. I turned this into my focal point and created the layers from the bottom up: spellbinders lacy squares, two Holly Motifs set katty corner, standard squares large,,,,and I used a smaller standard squares large to cut the adorable quilt digi out with and finishing up with  the smallest snowflake in Spellbinder's 2010 snowflake pendant dies.

I then layered kraft cardstock with Recollections Oh Christmas Tree line, set the focal point in the lower right hand corner, saving the upper left hand for the largest die in Spellbinders 2010 Snow flake pendant. My sentiment is House Mouse and I hand cut the little flag. Some bling, a tiny snowflake charm a big double bow, and she's done.

Here's a close up of this gorgeous stamp!

I'd like to thank Cheryl for the gorgeous images,,,and I have a confession to make.

I have no idea why she sent them. I am wracking my brains to remember if she had a drawing or something, and she probably thinks I'm a nutcase, but for the life of me, I can't remember! . DH says I just have too many things, thoughts, plans and ideas cluttering up my head, and I think he's right! What's more, most of my reminders are saved in my computer,,,,,,,and it's being fixed by my DS right now LOL. So, I am at a loss!

Thank you, Cheryl!!!!! She's always super sweet, and you should run right over (link at the top) and join the fun. There's still five more days!

Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoyed!

House Mouse and Friends!!!!!

Aren't they adorable????/

I am having so much fun playing with my new HMF stamps, that I just couldn't resist entering this card into two challenges!

I'll be entering this into the HMF Monday challenge THANKS HERE!

I'll also be entering this into the Pixie Cottage Blue for a Boy challenge HERE!

The beautiful blue paper is actually Christmas paper from Recollections "Naughty or Nice" paper stack. It's so elegant and NOT Christmassy, that I had to use it here. The adorable image is "Bunny Lift" from House Mouse, of course. A bit of lace, pearls, a ribbon and just a touch of sparkly gold branch punches add a lot of sparkle to this Thank you card!

I hope you enjoyed looking, and thanks for stopping by!

Pearls and lace!!!!

Two of my favorite things to put on cards! So who can blame me for wanting to play along with Addicted To Stamps with their PEARLS AND LACE CHALLENGE Here!

Additionally, I'd like to enter into the Midnight Madness sketch challenge HERE!

I flipped the sketch and went a little wild with it, but I SO LOVE HOUSE MOUSE and that's the prize this week! I was having a blast! so go on over to those challenges and check them out! You still have a bit of time left!

I've used one of my brand new House Mouse Stamps "Light as a Feather" to make this darling Get Well card for my daughter's future Mother In Law who is sick in the hospital. DCWV's Preppy Princess Stack provided the gorgeous pinks and greens,,,,,,a stick pin (pearls, OF COURSE) my image colored in copics, a bow, some branch punches a prima flower, and of course,,,pearls and lace! I've computer generated my custom sentiment and cut it out with my Happy Everything Tag Making kit from Just Rite.

I hope you enjoyed the card, and thanks for looking!!!!!

Have a MICE week!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far,,,,,tomorrow is my 28th wedding anniversary, and so my DH, Jaime, and I are going to Disney World for a few days,,,,,,we're staying at the Port Orleans Riverside, and we LOVE that hotel!!!!! Even if we COULD afford something far more luxurious, we wouldn't LOL,,,,,,,,it's the atomosphere we love! Pray for good weather, please, it's supposed to rain quite a bit. We go to Disney World all the time, but it would be nice to have nice weather for our anniversary!!!!

Today I have two cards to show you. I got three sets of house mouse stamps (along with some new copic refills) in the mail the other day, and I have been playing with them! I love them! Just too adorable!

These cards are made with the smallest of the stamps,,,,,,,,,I was playing and wanted to practice coloring fur (easier than you'd think with these stamps!), and so I had a bunch of colored ones, and decided to put together a few simple cards so as not to waste them.

Mostly, I used the Preppy Princess stack,,,,,,,scraps, mostly, and they are FAR more clean and simple than I usually make,,,,,,but they were so darned cute, I couldn't resist just using some pretty paper and letting the stamps shine. The GORGEOUS stick pins are from my friend Glenda,,,,,,,THANK YOU GLENDA! I love them, as you can see!

I hope you enjoyed, and I'll see you in a few days! Have an awesome week!
